Overview

This report gives a clear summary of what has been done and achieved in the second phase of the Web3 BUIDL Workshop by DeFi Africa. It lists the main tasks finished within the timeline and points out the big successes our team has reached.

Attendance Report

At its highest point, 64 students attended the workshop, 42 were computer science students, and the remaining 22 were student developers in ICT, cyber security, and solo developers. This mix of backgrounds made the event rich with different views and experiences.

Impact

Participants got practical experience by putting smart contracts to work on the Arbitrum Sepolia test network, with 60% managing to deploy their contracts successfully. The attendees also made connections that led to working together on projects, showing a lasting effect and development within the Arbitrum ecosystem.
